Under The Sun.

Listening to: Dancing Queen by ABBA

Friday, 110909

Baby and I did the craziest thing ever.

He finished college earlier than usual and decided to have lunch at Pizza Hut with me. And so we did. After lunch we had no idea what to do. The initial plan was to send me home immediately after lunch because he has to study. What with his SAM trials coming up, he needed intensive studying I suppose. My smart baby. He doesn't need to study much and he can score so well. Unlike, ehem, someone I know.

Baby was blindly driving around and was about to send me home already. But then being the last minute people we are (actually not us, just me), Baby suddenly said."Let's go to the lake and feed the fishes!"

It was 1.30 in the afternoon.

But the weather was very 5.30-in-the-evening-ish. So I agreed. We dropped by 7-Eleven to buy bread. 'Gardenia White Bread: RM2.10'. I'd rather not. I suggested to Baby that we drop by one of the nearby dry markets, MCM because the bread there is 20 cents cheaper. Hey, I am no cheapskate. But to me, every cent counts. Plus, I get the same brand and batch of bread for a cheaper price! Who wouldn't say no to that?

We bought the bread from MCM and headed off to the lake.

The weather was fine. It was windy and the clouds were blocking the sun from glaring at us. It was perfect.. Yeah, for what, 15 minutes? Then the clouds had to move, and the wind had to stop blowing. The heat was burning me up. I have not been under that kind of heat for.. uhh.. ever since I finished secondary school. I was something I never thought I would be, a Puteri Lilin (according to Baby). But I was a Candle Princess - lolwtf - for less than an hour only lah.

So Wong Yeung Zhi, being the sweetie he is, ran - eh, no, walked- to his car to fetch his, ehem, Renoma umbrella. Yes, walked. I don't know why that pig took his own sweet time but he did. I think he did it on purpose to see how long I can tahan burning under the sun. But I didn't really care. I was just focused on feeding the fishes, which don't appear until evening.

If you noticed in the picture above, Baby's happily holding his Renoma umbrella - just look at the smile on his face - with.. oh, what's that? Sunglasses?! No! It's his new pair of transition lenses. You know, the glasses which lenses change its color to black.. uhh.. I don't know how to explain. But I guess you people know what it is. If you don't, Google! Actually don't. You're harming the environment ):

When we first started throwing bread into the lake, the small pieces of bread floated on the surface of the water untouched. Baby looked and sounded disappointed. So was I. Well, I guess the fishes are kind of smart. They know that their food only comes in the evening 'cause that's when people start feeding the fish bread in large numbers. People actually fight to feed the fish. Instead of the fish fighting to get the food.

Eventually the fishes appeared, after almost 10 minutes or so. Only a few of them swam up close. Most of the fishes preferred to stay further from us because it's too shallow. After quite a while, I started to spot tiny tortoise heads popping out from the water. One even came near enough for us to see its yellowish-green shell. During the evenings, I can usually see more than 5 tortoises swimming close to us trying their luck to get some bread. Sometimes if you're lucky you get to see one or two Koi fish fighting for the bread as well. Who would want to dump their Koi fish in the pond though?

Baby was so excited. He said if one comes close enough, he wants to bring it home. He already has two back home which he named Hon Wei (ROFL) and Hon Chun. I wonder what he was gonna name the next one after. That's if he actually caught the tortoise. He he.

See those two white things floating? Those are the two pieces of bread Baby threw for the fishes. It disappeared in 5 seconds. He wanted to see how the fishes fight for their food. The fishes hantam the bread like piranhas tearing a live animal apart. I suddenly felt the hair on the back of my neck stand.

Once we were done flinging the pieces of *sob* expensive Gardenia bread into the lake for the little fishies to gobble up, we left all sweaty but happy. First time I ever did something like this with my boyfriend. And Zekey Wong, you just had to make it special by being the first guy to ever bring me to the lake to feed fishes. Ha ha. I love you baby. Thank you so much for engraving another special day for me to engrave in my memory.

xoxo

Media Blackout

Listening to: Careless Whispers by George Michael

During Sociology class on Wednesday, Ms. Jaime gave us our individual assignment: A Media Blackout Experiment. Which I did not keep to at all.

1. Eliminate all use of media, except for that required work, school, and emergencies for a forty-eight-hour period, keeping a journal as you go of what happens - what you are thinking, what others say and how people interact with you.

2. At the conclusion of the forty-eight-hour period, write a brief paper describing what happened during the blackout.

3. What does your experiment teach you about the power of the media to influence society and people within it?

The whole class was in fits. Nobody wanted to do it. But no matter how much we disagreed, we still had to complete the assignment (5 page report) which is due next Wednesday. Our class ended at 3 PM. Hence, Ms. Jaime declared that from 3 PM onwards, we're supposed to be on a media blackout for the next 48 hours.

After class I continued using my phone to text Baby. Upon reaching home, I flew to my brother's PC to play Plants vs. Zombies. I logged in to Facebook as well. I watched my Moonlight Resonance. I read my book. I did everything I'm not supposed to. Screw it lah. I'll just crap up the 5 page report.

I can't live without media.

PS: Missing someone.

So Not Me.

Listening to: No Tomorrow by Orson

You Are Influential and Skilled

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.

You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.

People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.

You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.

At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.

You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.

You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.

You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.

You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

I was bored. Hence, the quiz.

My Blog.

Listening to: Broken Strings by James Morrison feat. Nelly Furtado

My blog is somewhat dead. I rarely do update because somehow, I've got a hundred and one other things to do besides blogging. I used to update my blog frequently. Exactly, used to. I procrastinate. Which is anything but good. Because every time I've got something good to blog about, I end up:

1. Texting my Baby (Mwah!) or;
2. Playing the piano or;
3. Reading a book or;
4. On Facebook or;
5. Reading blogs or;
6. Watching TV or;
7. On YouTube or;
8. Eating or;
9. Sleeping or;
10. Simply just rotting.

(I could go on but I'd rather not bore you because somehow the list does not end.)

I've got so many things to say. But the sequence of events are all jumbled up. I can't seem to put what happened first, first. Otherwise, I'm not able to elaborate according to chronological order. I jump from the middle of my day to the beginning and then to the end. Sometimes, after typing out so much, I just refrain from publishing my entry and just delete it. I am so not satisfied with my work.

My English is deteriorating. I am embarrassed, but it is the truth. I bet you all noticed ):

PS: Baby I miss you.

7th August 2009

Listening to: >>

Was the best day of my life.

Baby picked me up from my house after his class, then drove to Sunway Pyramid to spend time together because on my birthday itself, I would be spending time with my family and baby wouldn't be free. I really appreciate the fact that he's willing to drive all the way to KK from Subang just to spend time with me. Imagine all the time and petrol wasted on me. Thank you so much baby (':

For once we did not watch a movie. Baby wanted to watch Ghost of Girlfriends Past but I insisted on not watching. I just felt like walking around pointlessly in a shopping mall instead of sitting down in the cinema for 2 hours causing my ass to feel numb. It's spending time with baby too but since we do it so often, I thought why not walk around Sunway Pyramid pointlessly for a change? I know, a waste of time. I don't care. I got to spend my time with my baby!

After our legs started to tire, we stopped by KFC to tapau our dinner and then left. If I recall, it was at about 8 something PM. Ha ha. I remember that we didn't want to get caught in the jam during the peak hour which is simply terrifying. When I reached KK, Baby parked his car somewhere near my house and we started having dinner in the car. It was the first time I ever ate in the car with any of my boyfriends, Baby made it so special. After dinner, came a string of events that I would never ever forget.

Once we finished dinner, he turned to me and passed me an envelope. I was scared. I didn't know what the letter contained, didn't even know what his intention was. He told me to open it and read it. It was quiet. So quiet, I could hear my heart beating so fast and loud in my ears. And then, music started to seep out from the radio. Collide by Howie Day. My favorite song. Our song. With immediate effect, tears started gushing out of my tear ducts and I began to read the already opened letter. The contents of the letter, I shall not reveal. It is for my own private enjoyment. Thus, I shall not share it with anybody.

I thought that was all. But Baby never did fail to shower me with surprises. With Collide still playing on his stereo, he gave me a few pieces of tissue paper. I thought it was for me to wipe my tears but it turned out to be another surprise. He made me a birthday promise, which again, I will not reveal. No one knows except the both of us. So there. I'm sorry for being so potong. That is, if you actually wanna know what he wrote in the letter and what his promise was to me (:

AND THEN I THOUGHT THAT WAS ALL. But nooooo, there was MORE to come. I was already so happy that he wrote me that letter and made me the promise. I did not expect more. I was thrilled when he presented me with Sophie Kinsella's latest novel, Twenties Girl which cost RM79.90 (I know because I have been eyeing that book ever since it's been in bookstores). I did not know what to say. Neither did I know what to do. All I could say was Thank You x 10. Oh, the joy that filled me up that night. Unforgettable. Period.

We finished our KFC then went to a nearby playground to spend more time together. As you can see, Baby is proud of his oh-so-muscular back. I am proud of him too! Thank you Zekey Wong Yeung Zhi for such an awesome night. I could not ask for more. It was so special, and will remain in my memory forever. All those little things you did. All those meaningful things you said. I will remember. It will be forever engraved in my memory. The best birthday gift ever.

Just so you know, I have never cried so much during my birthday. I didn't even cry as much during my grandfather's funeral :x That's how much all of it meant to me baby.

PS: That's not all, Baby gave me another birthday present on my birthday itself (10th August) but being the selfish person I am, I am not sharing it with anyone of you. *giggles*

PPS: I love Wyz <3

As many of you have realized, I have not been able to update my blog frequently. Reason being, I am lazy. Yes, lazy. Very lazy. It's been sixteen (16) days since my birthday and I am only updating now. It shows how lazy Denise Goh can be.

I am anything but proud of it.

I shall update again soon. Do watch out for the next post.

Where Are You When I Need You?

Listening to: My Humps by The Black Eyes Peas

Baby I love you.

I miss you.
